Chanel - Window Display

As part of our Visual Merchandising module, we were required to design a window display for a particular product, where as a group, we would be alloted a design movement, which would form the basis of our focal inspiration.

I, along with my group members Kinjalika Jaiswal, Moksha Jain, Rashi Bagga and Priyanka Singh, were alloted Art Deco, the movement famous for its conspicuous usage of the sunburst motif and the juxtaposition of black, gold and white.

We chose Chanel N.5 perfume as our product for this. The following is our process and the final window.
Initial Exploratory Sketches
The final sketch - employing the famed sunburst motif
3D Model Development - using butter paper and PVC sheets
The final display at night - the podium is made up of acrylic and the backdrop has been created by fusing
